If you’re a big fan of the sheer inanity of Japanese humour, then you’re going to love what the Fosters.co.uk site has managed to resurrect.

The site is the exclusive home of the new Fast show series – the hit British comedy sketch show series from the mid 1990s.

The show gradually became a legend over the years due to its zany off-beat style of humour and its rapid short take sketches.

The main writer Paul Whitehouse and Charlie Higson had both worked with UK comedy legend Harry Enfield and the Fast Show was the inspiration for loads of other comedy shows in the country such as The Catherine Tate show and Little Britain.

The all new Fast Show is better than ever with some of the series’ most well-loved characters coming back for the 12 shows. If you’ve never watched the show before, then give it a little time and gradually get to know the characters like Rowley Birkin, Dave Angel, John Actor, aka ‘Monkfish’, Arthur Atkinson, Billy Bleach, coughing Bob Fleming, “Brilliant” kid, the “Chanel 9” team, Checkout girl, Colin Hunt and Competitive Dad. And these are just a few – seriously!

You can view them online any time and they’re truly not to be missed if you’re a fan of lateral, zany humour.

More off-beat still, and either funnier or not at all funny depending on your comedy standpoint, are Reeves and Mortimer also being brought to fans through the Fosters site.

The comedy duo’s so-called “Afternoon Delights” are truly spectacular. They can’t really be explained very well to a non-UK audience.

You either love them or you don’t. Either way, Vic and Bob won’t care at all. They still seem to find each other hilarious and don’t really care what the rest of the world thinks. That’s what makes them so endearing.
